1. In lab this week we learned about the NGSS and how it can be beneficial as a classroom teacher. We also learned what this class is going to focus on as we move week to week. Prior to our first day I was not exactly sure what to expect but it was nice to see our syllabus and go through what the semester is going to look like. 2. From our first lab, the most beneficial piece of information that I found most useful for my future as an educator was learning about the NGSS.I believe I could use the NGSS in the future to help make lesson plans for my class as well as using it to guide my science instruction in the right direction. 3. Some remaining questions I have about the course would be if we are going to focus on more difficult science topics such as chemistry, biology, and physics, or if we will dive deeper into what we learned at the elementary level.
